          Chris Mears Looking Ruf

As Obi Wan Kenobi sort of had it: “These are the pictures of Olympic gold medallist Chris Mears you are looking for…”

So there was an alternative set of images that the Rufskin boys shot of Chris Mears for us late last year, in bodywear and swimwear, that we decided not to use in the Winter issue of Winq. Instead we ran with a denim shoot, and thought we’d save the sexier stuff for later, to use online.

But the shoot was actually one of two produced by the creative gurus at Rufskin (Hubert-Pierre Pouches and Douglas Coats) at our behest. The second, unseen until now, finds Chris Mears in more traditional states of undress, and in skin–tight sportswear from the R–sport and R–swim ranges. We know, we know.

Shot on location in the extraordinary daylight studio at Rufskin’s own ‘Rufhouse’ near Palm Springs, this is a hot shoot in every sense. But make your own mind up…

            More on Rufskin at www.rufskin.com.

The Winter edition of Winq is now on sale at all good newsagents, or from www.winq.com.
